How can Life Coaching Help You?

Life coaching takes an exploratory approach – this allows you to make dramatic discoveries about the deep causes that lie behind your situation.

Answers to why you feel frustrated or blocked or stuck somehow, or how you became lost on your path in some way.

Gain a Fresh Perspective

A fresh perspective gives you powerful revelations about what it is you really want and how to go about making the dream a reality

With coaching you get a new approach, you get new tools and techniques to enable you to reach your goals faster and find simple yet powerful solutions to any challenges on the way.

Get Awareness of Your Goals

By becoming conscious of your internal belief system you set the stage for adapting to new ways of thinking and being.

When you align to your inner values you gain an awareness of your true goals.

Coaching facilitates this understanding by allowing you to view your situation through a new lens.  Providing new meaning and a recognition of your deeper belief systems, behaviour patterns and assumptions that you have been living under.

Find Clear Direction

The coaching process is designed to find out where you are now in life, where it is you want to go and then determining the best direction to take to get you there.

Coaching helps you take action where before there was inaction by tackling blocks or limiting beliefs, helping you face fear or deal with stress or just by helping you get re-orientated when you feel lost.

A good coach will help you to eradicate limiting beliefs and unwanted patterns of behaviour and give you powerful tools to help overcome any roadblocks along the way.

Find Purpose and Reach Potential

By helping you find true purpose, coaching brings you a way to reach your deepest potential.

Through non-judgemental active listening and powerful questioning techniques coaching can find a new vision for yourself and a framework for turning the vision into reality.

What life areas can life coaching help with?

Since there are so many aspects of life – any area can be worked on.

People usually see a life coach for the following reasons.

Aligning with your values and ideals enables you to lead a happy life –  when you discover and move toward your values you can lead an authentic life and feel happy.

Personal coaching can help you reach you true potential by breaking down barriers and removing roadblocks in your path.

Change does have the potential to cause stress and discomfort, however, you can get over fears, change habits and break patterns with life coaching.

It is no secret that modern life can be stressful. Coaching can help you create direction and strategy to bring yourself into balance and flow.

What is a life coach?

A life coach is a professional who helps you to get things out of your head and into real action to reach a goal or make a change in your life.

Letting a dream die or just fizzle out is not an option.

Life Coach as a Partner

A  life coach keeps you accountable for reaching your goals and continuing to make positive changes.

They challenge you to keep achieving, because ultimately this is what is needed if you truly want to achieve your personal development goals.

Life Coach as a Strategist

A good life coach has effective, yet efficient, strategies that enable you to not only identify goals and gain a deep understanding of what you want to accomplish but also focus you on reaching those goals more quickly in a meaningful way.

Life Coach as a Motivator

A life coach should have the professional training and knowledge of mind-set strategies and change psychology tools to coach you to your dream life.

Their role is to be there with you step by step to help you stay on track and motivated.

How Life Coaching Works

There are many differing techniques and methods and processes utilised by life coaches, the approach at QURE Coaching is grounded in evidence based coaching methodology and powerful NLP change psychology tools.

What is the First Coaching Session Like?

The first meeting can last anywhere from 1 hour to 3.5 hours and be telephone based or face-to-face depending on your coaching program.

This may be a time to see if life coaching is right for you, or it could be a time where you discover what you want to focus on and start developing the strategy to get there.

It can also be a breakthrough session where you start to develop a powerful mindset and breakdown limiting belief systems and behaviours.

You will leave the first meeting with goals, an initial plan and an idea of what you will do next or areas to explore that will kick-start your self-development.

What happens in a Coaching Session?

Coaches can come from a variety of professional backgrounds.

Your relationship with your life coach is dynamic and it changes over time as discoveries are made about how you work best and your individual needs, good coaching methods will accommodate to your strengths and provide you with insight and direction.

This unique skill set provides you with comprehensive life coaching programs designed to discover your ultimate intention, bring you clarity to what and how you want to feel and jump-start a new process of achievement.

My coaching programs are designed to find out what is holding you back, identify emotional or mental blocks and limiting beliefs that are between you and success.

What is Your Relationship with Your Coach Like?

A great coach is focused on three main things that will guarantee your success –  Enabling Insight, Being Accountable and Taking Action. Everything a coach does should be for this purpose. They should be with you every step of the way as your partner in achievement.

The relationship must be based on trust, a coach may seem like a friend, consultant and facilitator but their job is to constantly challenge you to achieve.

You should have a trust in them to be your non-judgmental advocate who has no motive other than to help you succeed.

Life coaches are there to get you motivated, confident and productive straight away. Imagine the incredible feeling of setting important but realistic and attainable goals and knowing the right steps to reach them.

No more feelings of being lost, stuck or frustrated – instead replace them with the feeling of happiness and achievement that come with attainment of goals and having direction and purpose in life.

The power of coaching is its ability to provide you with insight that you can only truly get from detailed focus on the examination of your goals with an objective, professional expert – a life coach.

Should You Get a Life Coach?

People who hire life coaches want more from life. If you are seeking self-development and fulfilment life coaching can bring fast growth in all life areas.

What is the Difference Between Coaching and Therapy?

As a professional clinical hypnotherapist I have extensive psychotherapeutic experience of helping people to deal with emotional and mental health issues and their symptoms.

Life coaches are not generally equipped to help with, or sometimes even able to recognise, disorders such as depression or addiction.

Life coaching is not a substitute for therapy – I can help you cope with stress and general anxiety and unwanted emotions that are holding you back – but most importantly I can recognise when life coaching is suitable for an individual or not.

Choosing a Life Coach

Life coaching is an investment of both time and money into your personal self development and creating the life you want. Choosing the right life coach is the critical factor in success.

How do I choose a life coach?

If you have a very clear goal in mind you can look for a coach with a specialisation that matches. Ultimately though you need a coach who you can connect well with and who is skilled in coaching methods and practices.

This article in SMH outlines some of the things to look out for when hiring a coach

I specialise in coaching people to their full potential by employing science backed coaching methodology and powerful change psychology that incorporates advanced NLP techniques and processes.

Overarching this is my therapy background that ensures you have the empathy and support you need for all of life’s challenges.

A real concern of the professional coaching community is the number of coaches whose skills and training have not been independently verified and certified.

Unfortunately, not all people who call themselves a life coach are certified or accredited in anyway. Life experience and other types of experience or training are simply not enough.

Certification is important – life coaching is a profession that requires very specific skills, high behaviour standards, and a solid foundation in coaching training and methodology that is only taught by the very best training institutes.

This article by Choice Magazine provides a very good overview of what to look for in a life coach and pitfalls to watch out for.

In my life coaching practice I want to be able to provide the most effective and highest quality of coaching available.

I am certified and accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ICF is the peak body coaching organisation that sets the international standards for professional coaches and their ethical codes, professional training and best practices.

How Much Does Life Coaching Cost?

If someone can make you make life changing significant positive changes, what is that worth to you? How much does it cost to be unfulfilled, lost and frustrated?

Life coaching cost needs to be assessed against the utility or value that the coaching brings.

What is the Price Per Coaching Session?

Coaches often charge by the hour the price can range anywhere between $100 – $350 per hour.

I offer coaching packages as longer term coaching creates better outcomes. I want a great outcome for you my client first and foremost.

Not All Life Coaches Are Created Equal

Charging the most does not necessarily mean that it is the best coaching. As with many things in life –  you do need to do your research.

Make sure you use all offers of free consultations, carefully read websites and any reviews and references you can find.

An Investment in Your Best You

It can be difficult to invest in your own personal development, but it really is worth the investment when you have a coach that inspires and challenges you to fulfil your deepest potential.

I want you to care about the amount you have invested in yourself, I want you to care about the outcomes.

I want you to accomplish more than you thought possible.
